Who We Are These online modules were targeted to Florida physicians, nurses, dieticians and physician assistants. To enhance our approved provider professions, the Florida Area Health Education Center Nework partnered with SPC to provide CME. A long-standing relationship between Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center and SPC to provide education to healthcare professionals, especially in underserved regions, became the building block for this collaboration. Originally, OnlineCE.net was created via a partnership between Sun Sentinal/Vital Signs magazine and SPC. Courses were simultaneously published in Vital Signs magazine and on SPC's Online CE website. As the first Community College online site for healthcare professional continuing education, OnlineCE.net set the standard for excellence that is continued today.
The CE Health Program's mission is to provide opportunities to improve employability, enhance career skills and attain personal enrichment through courses, seminars, workshops and other continuing education programs. CE Health Program's "traditional" courses, seminars and events (not offered online) are listed in the SPC CE brochure. To request your copy please call (727) 341-3239. These listings are also available (and constantly updated) at our college website: http://www.spcollege.edu/ac/ce/. SPC is an approved provider for the following professions:
